Previous Guest Star Stamper Submissions

I will be posting a few of my previous PTI Guest Star Stamper submissions over the next few days. You might have already seen them in the PTI Gallery, but I thought I would post them for the benefit of those who are unfamiliar with that site.

For some reason this set reminds me of clothing. Sometimes when I am stamping I feel as though I am putting an outfit together and this was one of those occasions.  I think it has something to do with the brown border, the white trim and the rhinestones. It kind of reminds me of a shirt cuff. Project Runway here I come!!!! I used PTI’s Guidelines II, Mega Mixed Messages, Polka Dot Basics, Journaling Lines, Damask Designs, and Background Basics: Retro. I also used PTI & Lauren Meader’s My Timeless Template, Filed with Flair. All supplies, except the rhinestones, are PTI.

  1. Wow, I love these cards and the box is fantastic. I just placed an order during last night's PTI release party and I ordered all three Guide Lines sets. Could you post a close up of some of the patterns, or better yet, show a few in progress shots of how you built up these FABULOUS background designs??? I am SO IMPRESSED with how you have layered the stamps and colors, but I can't tell what stamps were used in the lighter color in each case. I would love to see a post on the evolution of these beautifully complex papers. Inspiring!!!

  3. This set is just perfect!! I love how you've overlaid several of the Guidelines medallions to create a more complex look. Definitely reminds me of fabric or tapestry! I love my Guidelines II set and will definitely have to try this overlaying technique!! Thanks for the inspiration!!!
